Our Commitment to your Privacy
At Sinergy Pty Ltd ("Sinergy"), we take your privacy seriously and want to provide our clients with the best possible service. This Privacy Statement sets out how we may gather, use, disclose and manage information about you.

Sinergy pledges to provide our clients with the following rights:

  • our total commitment to the principles of Australia's privacy legislation
  • collection/security and access of personal information
  • direct marketing opt-in/opt-out policy

Sinergy will not sell, trade or rent any personally identifiable information obtained without the prior consent of the individual.

What is "personal information"
Personal information is any information by which a person's identity can be reasonably determined.

Why collect personal information?
Collecting personal information here at Sinergy is essential to conducting our business.

By collecting personal information, we are able to provide our clients with a quality medical report by one of our independent medical specialists. If we do not collect personal information, we are unable to provide our client with our expert services and therefore are unable to conduct our business.

Where possible, Sinergy will collect personal information directly from our clients. Often consent is implied through conduct when personal information is collected over the telephone, via our website or during the course of our business with our clients.

No matter how personal information is collected, we are committed to the National Privacy Principles.

Sinergy may disclose personal information in certain circumstances; especially where consent has been given explicitly, verbally or implied. Generally, however, we do not disclose personal information to a party outside Sinergy, unless that party has been contracted by Sinergy to provide a service on our behalf. In any event, that party will also be bound by our Privacy Policy.

It is vital that the personal information we collect is complete, accurate and up-to-date.

How can you access your personal information?
Sinergy aims to ensure that your personal information is complete, accurate and up to date. Please contact us on 1300 304 144 if you would like to seek access to or update your personal information.

Sinergy will handle quickly and efficiently all requests for personal information. We will endeavour to process all requests for access within 14 days.

Access may be denied for the following reasons:

  • personal information relates to existing or anticipated legal proceedings
  • denying access is required or authorised by law
  • claim to access is frivolous or vexatious

With regard to Medical Reports, the commissioning client is legally the owner of a medical report even though the specialist retains copyright ownership. Sinergy is not the legal owner of the report and therefore will refer any requests for such to the commissioning client.

Sinergy may use personal information to advise or offer you information on our services, events or training that may be relevant and of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive these offers or information, contact Sinergy direct on 1300 304 144.
