Independent Medical Examinations
The Independent Medical Examination (IME) will address your individual questions and generally includes the following (* as required):

• Examination
• Investigations
• Diagnosis
• Treatment
• Prognosis
• Return to work
• Causation
• Impairment*
• Apportionment*

If requested, our doctors will telephone the commissioning party and appropriate other parties (including the nominated treating doctor) to discuss the outcome of the examination.
